The NorthWest Rating System (NWRS)  maintains the ratings for Scholastic Chess in the the Northwest (Washington, Oregon and Idaho). This is a local rating system which is independent from the National USCF Rating System, although it is regularly synchronized with USCF ratings.

Our events currently report to the NWRS. There is a growing interest in USCF Rated sections and events. We are currently assessing how we can best support this interest.
